TAD The Amazing Devil Inspired Washi Tape 50 mm Wide || Fair || Inkpot Gods || Blossoms

If fae existed, and if they were so benevolent as to grace us with their music, then surely it would sound like The Amazing Devil. And upon each delicate strip of washi tape, I have done my best to capture the overall "feel" of three of their most popular songs: "Fair," "Inkpot Gods," and "Blossoms."

The lyrics alone are enough to make you chuckle, to make you weep, to make your heart soar and then ache, and to make you wonder...surely this band must have lived many lifetimes and been reincarnated again and again, to be able to capture all of the life experience, the joy, the sorrow, the mundane and the precious things that are in their songs.

When coupled with the music, why... The experience is truly otherwordly.

My meager tribute to this band who has given me so much is to design a set of washi tapes, three for now, for some of the songs that hit me the hardest and mean the most to me.

Printed upon this delicate Japanese paper is snippets of their song lyrics, written in a font which I thought suited the mood. Alongside this, I have designed the backgrounds and texturing to fit what I felt best reflected each track, both musically and lyrically.

Each roll of TAD lyrics washi tape measures 50 mm wide and 5 m long, and comes labeled with the song title upon the roll's packaging.

All three tapes are available separately, but when purchased together as a bundle, there will be a small discount applied.

The full loop of each song measures approximately 187 mm long.
